We couldn't be prouder! Save the Med Expeditions has awarded Falcao Uno Yacht Events the "Plastic Free Balearics" certification with 5 stars for our challenge to not serve or use single-use plastic on board.

According to scientific data, more than 5 trillion pieces of plastic weighing more than 250.000 tons are floating in the oceans. This plastic rubbish/waste comes mostly from single-use food and drink containers. That's 6 billion plastic bottles afloat in the high seas.

We would like to thank Save the Med for the great work they do and for the fact that 94,000 plastic bottles have been removed from the supply chain. Their work with environmental and sustainability projects is key to improving our environment.

The best waste is the waste that is not generated.
